3d models of artefacts

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Cool... I guess it means the artefacts can be 3D printed, so theoretically they'll last forever.

The Smithsonian and the BM (I think) hve 3D files on their websites.

Its a growing field in Archaeology. My tutor has scanned buildings by photogrammetry but noting at higher resolution, as he hasnt the technology, nor a printer...

...I would love a 3D printer...
