The drop and shoulder area is quite shallow but the spoon fits the hand well and works, I like the design and to be honest that's the bit I find most difficult to get right ! My spoons still tend to have a life of their own even with my intervention !

They are definite users, I found a template and it seems to suit my style ( or lack thereof !)

Not sure , just bits I've picked up here and there , possibly Apple . Bottom one is in oiled , I finish them with tung oil .

try a tool finish mate your carving is really good,a tool finish is more durable and food safe.
