The Frontline is not waterproof, so breathes a bit better, i think some people might have had problems with moisture build up with the Travel. I have got a Frontline and as with all DD stuff, it is great and a favourite bit of kit of mine

And I've never experienced condensation .....but in fairness I do use a sheepskin mat most times. Imo your better off putting the xtra to a ukhammock . Dd have a good customer relationship on faults (which can be common ) but UKhammocks are far better build and have an equally as good customer service and a personal touch :thumbup:

Hi guys,

I've ordered a travel hammock, tarp and sleeve through the SOTP arm of this group buy, but I'm interested to understand why the majority of you guys have ordered the frontline hammock. Is it because of the additional weight of the waterproof base or am I missing something important here?

Advice would be helpful.

The Travel hammock designed for folk who want to use their hammock for ground dwelling as well as using off the ground. It is just a matter of taste and what you would like to use your hammock for. I have both but prefer my frontline hammock and my Daughter happily uses the travel without any issues.
