2 fire steels.

I bought some blank fire steels from china a while back now, and being a typical Yorkshireman, promptly lost them.
After strict orders to 'tidy up the little toilet', where my gear was kept, I found 2 of the steels.
They have now been housed in antler and rams horn.
Its the first time I've used antler, and was surprised how easy it is to use. I bought it from the local vets, its called 'stagbar' and quite cheap.

They are pretty good actually. Tried the antler one with my knife spine and the back of a hacksaw blade. Its definitely better that the Bear Grylls ones. Don't have a light my fire to compare though, but I'd imagine they are comparable.

Nice work! That rams horn will go like glass if you polish it.... The rustic look is also good though.
