    egg tanning troubles

    hi, i just finished stretching a recently eggtanned (smeared with warm water/egg yolk) rabbit skin with the fur on, but it hasnt really gone to plan (still a little bit rawhidey)do i need to smoke it to stop it from rotting or will it still work as rawhide? thanks monty
