Got out to the local rifle range for a while to shoot my .32 cal muzzle loader, and get it sorted out for small game...
Split a bunch of firewood this morning and with temps in the single digits in fareheit(sp)...
Got the woodstove going full bore and filled a trash can half way with kindling..

I'm a good ways north of cajun country and have never given this a try.. I've seen many a "bugs"(crawdads) in my local lake but never have given any thought to catching or eating any until this year..

Took the tip of my left pinky off, and still going at it.. Glad you're still out there trying.. If anything this is the time to get out even more .. This way you can think outside the box, and learn to adapt..
I was never more suprised at how much a splinted pinky finger can get in the way...
MAN !! I was really impressed at how sharp his axe was !! I really couldn't tell much when the guy shaved his arm, but when he was working that log... WOW !!
