    What aboiut a gansey, traditionally worn by fishermen? Heavy wool, tightly woven and I think you can get some with the lanolin left in.

    Venus and Jupiter….worth watching the sky tonight

    There was a wonderful view of this here. I sat atop a hill with the sunset before me, the full moon rising at my back and then they appeared in the still quite light sky about WNW. Venus was very bright.

    I've always found the Polish shelter more useful as a poncho than a tipi.
