HELP NEEDED! Laser measurement of badgers

Splendid. I'm sure you're not the only zemmiphobist out there. Obviously the badger is just one of the many nocturnal mammals that i have studied, as zemmiphobists do not fear badgers, i have included it so as to exclude them from triggering the alert mode of the system.

HELP NEEDED! Laser measurement of badgers

Zemmiphobia is a condition that affects hundreds of people, some of whom, i calculate, must be into bushcraft. My prototype nocturnal detector unit is almost ready and when available should ensure that they get a good night's sleep in the woods.

HELP NEEDED! Laser measurement of badgers

Thanks for your help, it may well have been a badger at full tilt then. This information will be fed into my calibration unit to help identify approaching mammals while I'm asleep under my tarp. Roy's badger- I can't reveal the model I use in case my boss is logged on, but its a lot easier to...

HELP NEEDED! Laser measurement of badgers

Thanks Toddy. I can't say too much at the moment about the actual results of this survey, but I'm hoping that in time my research may help a lot of people, at huge profit to myself.

Answer a question to ask a question!

Q: What is the best natural cure for the runs if there is no charcoal available? A: Put hair gel (not too much) on the fletchings and a high gloss paint on the shaft and polish it to a high shine.

HELP NEEDED! Laser measurement of badgers

Last night whilst speed gunning badgers in my local wood I recordeded the following velocities: +/- 1Kph to +/- 3Kph with an average of +/- 1.45Kph. Fairly normal. One result stood out however. Has anyone else clocked a badger at 45.3Kph? I had momentarily lost my night vision due to a...

    Round walk?

That v-g site is really good, never heard of it before. If you fancy something other than mountains try the south west coast path. A good area for a circular of about the duration you're after would be penzance to st ives. Short bus/train hop to pick up your car from one of the secure car parks...

Ray Mears Bushcraft - can you name that tune?

"the in sound from way out" is an album by the beastie boys of all people, and tracks from it get used a lot on rays stuff. So do primal scream. Can't be his own choice; he said he liked take that on jo whiley's show.

    What trousers?

The old olive green lightweight trousers are good, but would be better if they had 2 leg pockets rather than 1. I like them best as they dry rapidly.

Any meet ups in South West?

Sounds like a commendable plan, i would like to try the digging up of the sea kelp root like ray mears did on tv this week, if it is to be a coastal visit. Is the wood you use near the sea smarty?
