    Bepanthen for new tattoo ?

I use bepantham too. But many people have a bad reaction to it. It's formulae has also changed over the years. My ex is a well known tattoo artist and I used to work in her shop. She would always recommend cocoa butter and other natural moisturisers. Sent from my G7-L01 using Tapatalk

Just made myself a Laplander Sheath.... What dy'a think ?

All dry shaped. Wasn't hard at all. I made it a snug fit as I thought it would soften and losen up over time. Its 3mm so pretty heavy duty. Im sure it will be fine. The laplander length and curved shape will help it stay in there too.

Just made myself a Laplander Sheath.... What dy'a think ?

VERY !!! I could hang it upside down for a year and the saw wouldn't budge. But still very easy to remove and re-sheath.

Just made myself a Laplander Sheath.... What dy'a think ?

Thanks. Glad you like it. There's a few bits I don't like. I didn't groove out the leather for the stitches so they're not flush. The holes were too close together for the size of thread so they look squashed together. The black stitch doesn't look great on a light tan leather. The...

Time to loose a bit of weight.

I have a huge appetite. I could easily be 20 stone. But I'm not. And I eat A LOT and often. You have to get active. You can burn calories in the most unlikely places. Washing your car, climbing stairs, walking to the shop to fetch your paper. Get a dog ! Great reason for a good stroll...

Just made myself a Laplander Sheath.... What dy'a think ?

Constructive criticism VERY welcome !! I spent a couple of months in the Yukon Territory last year. Canoeing the river and living in the bush. So close to the arctic circle, all you really need is a laplander and a Gransfors Wildlife hatchet. Perfect combo. Losing a laplander is too...

    hanging pot above fire, why?

They're made so a Crusader water bottle can fit inside them.. And you often wear them on your webbing belt. The kidney shape 'I think' is more comfortable than round. http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/350478621248?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla&crdt=0

    hanging pot above fire, why?

I prefer hanging pots on an adjustable chain.. Then you can control your cooking temperature or keep a big pot of water hot ready for brews. It depends a lot on how many people are at your camp and how long you're staying there.

    Garmin Etrex Vista HCX

Ive got that gps. Its a good little unit. Its too slow and fiddley for the car but handy on the trail and has a good digital compass..

I've just made this - Axe Holder (Wildlife hatchet) / Torch holder

The hoop that holds the axe is fairy snug and I made it 2" wide to give it more support.. I made the hoop JUST big enough to get the wide end of the axe handle into as well. I've been wearing it half the day to test it and it hasn't even slipped down the hoop, let alone fallen out. Good...

What to use Sheep fleece for?

Motorcycle or car seat covers. They relieve the strain on long journeys. I always have one on my longer bike trips.
