i find giving the lip of the jar a few good bangs against a hard surface around its perimeter helps break the seal,
wore the new coat out today for the first time. no rain, but a strong wind.
found the coat to be very comfortable and quite warm. definitely not a summer item.

Gortex i find is good if you dont mind buying new coats regularly and just want them for light duties.
unfortunately the man made materials arent nowhere near as hard wearing as the natural stuff.
ive just ordered a wax jacket with detachable hood for dog walking.

the dogs just a pet. the gun dog training is for fun.
the girlfriend is trying to calm him on walks with treats, hopefully it will help.
saw a fella wearing a great coat recently, complete with handlebar moustache.
was an impressive looking garment and i imagine would last for decades being pure wall.
the training is just done for fun.
back in the summer at Broadlands dog festival he even managed to come last place in the sniff out a treat competition.
