    Tarp advice needed

    Hi I'm looking at a dd solo tarp and was wondering if it is a good size for ground camping its 2.8 x 1.8. I think the 3x3 will be too large for being stealthy. Also do I need a bivy bag if I'm under a tarp? Also what tarp poles shall I buy. Thanks Tom

    Bivy bag and tarp what do you recommend?

    I need a new sleep system and I am interested in a bivvy however I don't think I will have enough space to be comfortable so I was thinking a tarp but I don't use hiking poles so I don't know what to do. I don't usually camp in woods. Please help

    I'm looking to buy a bivi bag but I can't decide what to get. I'm interested in either a British army bivi or alpkit hunka. Which is better? What's the weight of the British army bivi? Do I need a mat on the inside or outside? Do I need a tarp to cover my face? Which is more durable? Thanks...
