So bought one in the end, even snugpak sent me a confusing answer. Anyway, if anyone is wondering here they are to compare. Slept in the xl the other night and must say the extra room made for a more comfortable night.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the Bushmen Hideout Thermo Bivy Bag. Looks a versatile bit of kit. I have one of their tarps (3x2.5 ultralight) and its a quality bit of kit.
A beauty by this superb British maker. Brand new, has never cut a thing. Specs on the photo. 3mm thick at spine, full flat grind so very slicey.
