Does anyone have experience with Tentipi 15?

Hello I'm considering buying a Tentipi zirkon 15 for use as a dining room for a bushcraft bistro but I've never seen one up close and live many many hours from the nearest stockist so can't go and have a look at one. Does anyone have first hand experience of how spacious they are inside? I'd...

    Jompy Water Heaters

Cold weather sleeping bag advice needed

Missed it thanks for the heads up though. Have blown all my salary on the 50% sale in the snowboard shop so going to wait till October to buy a new bag, it I's getting a bit emotional though as my summer bag is very thin and the zip is broken. Night time temps are already in single digits.

Cold weather sleeping bag advice needed

Cool, £20 sounds good to me. Have insulated my self from the ground with a bed made from branches lined with about 5 inches of moss which is really warm and quite soft. Might throw some reindeer hides on top of that.

    Urine

I know, well have met, people who swear by drinking their own urine and do indeed swear by it's health giving properties. I don't know how healthy they were but they certainly didn't appear to be dead. I suppose the thing is that they are not JUST drinking urine but taking on water as well.

How do I convert OH to wild camping?

Sell it as romantic. Go off somewhere quiet, moonlight, stars, open fire, bottle of wine chilling in a stream, stick some candles in jam jars then put the jars in white paper bags and you have your own lighting effects. Then wake her up an hour before dawn and make her stand too in case of...

What to take, What to eat

You any good at making risotto? I find a bag of risotto rice, some olive oil, garlic, stock cube and maybe an onion in the pack makes for a relativly lightweight monster feed. However, it does use up a lot of water and takes a while to cook so would recomend cooking over a fire and making it...

    Bushcraft skills in everyday life?

had to go take down a curtain rail from a property the other day, the only instructions I had was that it was in the South East bedroom. Obviously I didn't have a compass on me but I could see where the sun was and I knew what time it was so the correct curtain rail was taken down, I hope.

A year in the Swiss alps without a tent.

Thanks for the link, fortunately I have a handy German on hand to translate - I never leave home without one. I have spent a lot of the last three winters figuring out how to do this and have built some connections with the local community as well as working out the technical side of things...
