Looking at the logo etc, I think it's this one here.

National Risk Register/National Resilience Update - Nothing new to us.

There is now way anyone can force my car to discharge to the grid. There is also no way that anyone can control my EV charger without my login details.

    What did you buy today?

Yes, I got the leather sheath. I even ventured outside into the garden and pinged off a few bits of tree that were hanging over the fence. It works well but it's far to hot out there to be doing anything.

    What did you buy today?

It's arrived. It's a bit of a beast isn't it :p I can see it being very useful.

I have finally succumbed and a Skrama 240 is winging it's way to me.

That looks interesting. I don't need one but.... If you would like some vinyl cut for either jar labels or for masks to etch the glass surface give me a shout. I've just picked up a cutter module for my 3d printer.

    Useful 3D printed camp gear

One of mine here. Only really useful if you have an Alpkit Bask chair though.

    Collapsible chair recommendations

Alpkit Bask here. Yes it's expensive, but it is very comfy. If you are cheeky and actually phone Alpkit and ask if they have a discount code, they might just tell you. They did for me. I have also designed a can holder for it. It's free on makerworld.

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

I know it's the wrong time of the year but I was asked to make some poppy valve caps by someone on makerworld.

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

I printed a few more bees and turned some of them into a bee mobile :)

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

If you mean the basic unmodified machine just search for "chinese patcher sewing machine" on youtube. If you mean my modified version then not really. Just a short clip of the motor making it run. It's not publically available though. Once set up they work well and will go through an...

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

Have you used a hand cranked sewing machine? Don't get me wrong, it's easier and quicker than hand sewing but having both hands on the material being sewn is very useful. Treadle powered machines existed before electric powered ones for that reason. It doesn't help that in the case of the...

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

It makes the hand crancked machine run on electric.

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

It adapts a cheap(ish) sewing machine motor to the hand cranked machine that is shown.

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

I finally finished the modelling and 3d printing my design for motorising my chinese leather shoe patcher sewing machine. It's all just printed in PLA at the moment. I'll see how it holds up and if needed print in a differnet filament.

What is the point of taking an axe bushcrafting?

Why? You have already said that you don't need and axe for what you do :O_O:

What is the point of taking an axe bushcrafting?

Another point to this is "want". What we want to be doing and what tools we want to be playing with. Lets face it, none of use NEED to be out doing bushcraft/camping/outdoors stuff at all. It's all a "want". If you are going out to play, then play with stuff you like.

What is the point of taking an axe bushcrafting?

I don't see what use a poll would be. People are in different areas, with different limitations, wants and needs. What people take is suitable to their situation. Probably NOT yours.

    What did you buy today?

I would go for as big a battery as you can. Get one that means you can run all day off the battery and charge it overnight. That way you only buy in cheap rate leccy.

    What did you buy today?

We have 16 panels on the roof and 9 kWhs of battery in the loft. It's getting to the time of year where we (on average) export more that we use. Plus we get paid more for the export than we do overnight rates.
