Curly birch handle, used but not abused. Very, very sharp. K720 steel to use with fire steel. Has a few resin marks but nothing that wouldn't come off. I'm just not bushcrafting anymore so it is lying around. £90 to your door. More pics available per email

Unfortunately the time has come for me to give up canoeing. So I'm selling my BCP16. Dodgy knees and hip as well as my back just won't let me anymore. The canoe has the usual scrapes and bumps but is structurally sound. It's Royalex and weighs a mere 21kg. It comes with an original Bell kneeling...

This is probably a stupid question but, if I use and peel off the thin layers of bark of a young silver birch, does it grow back? I only take off what's already loose ? I thought it did?

Last touch to the kuksa i made some time ago. Tomorrow I'll start a new, more traditional one!!

My newly carved kuksa has cracked and I'd luke to glue it, or just fill the crack. Pine resin mixed with ash ok for that task? TIA for your help!!

Made it from Birch, all with hand tools. Still not quite finished as I have to wait for a large round chisel

I wanted to make one of those for some time. I only used hand tools. All that is left to do are the wedges for the "vice".

Just got myself one of those drones with a view to take pics/videos from the air. Anyone else doing that? Perhaps in the northeast?
