Curly birch handle, used but not abused. Very, very sharp. K720 steel to use with fire steel. Has a few resin marks but nothing that wouldn't come off. I'm just not bushcrafting anymore so it is lying around.

Unfortunately the time has come for me to give up canoeing. So I'm selling my BCP16. Dodgy knees and hip as well as my back just won't let me anymore.
The canoe has the usual scrapes and bumps but is structurally sound. It's Royalex and weighs a mere 21kg. It comes with an original Bell kneeling...
This is probably a stupid question but, if I use and peel off the thin layers of bark of a young silver birch, does it grow back? I only take off what's already loose ?

Going up to the beach somewhere around bamburgh castle and wondered if anybody has actually found flint there? If so, where?
