    ***!!!!! to be honest ive changed my esbit stove to use alcahol gel... but my stash of cheap hexamine, planning on using it in my model steam engine mostly.... because it has a little slide out fuel tray, it wont like alcahol gel..... need to find anotehr fuel.......

    Waxed cloth is great, great for cheese as helps it breath... once they wear out, can be used as firelighters as they ahve wax in... old cotton dishclotehs get cut up and soaked in wax for firelighters... we use a loofah as well for dishes and bathroom, just picked up some seeds but havent...

    If people are looking for a bargain...they shouldnt look at Olite But with Aliexpress black friday sale, as Nice65 and Chris say sofirn/wurkoss, nitecore etc are a bargain..... i had a klarus but it burned my pouch, now ive got a sofirn IF23 and very happy, but theres now a recently released...

    Re victorian farm, some of Ruths enecdotes arent exactly right, some are, but they dont always recreate exactly.... One good use for charity shop duvet covers is to make a quilt by insert a bit of batting ( we use £3 ikea fleece sheets) and then sewing quilting squares/diamonds, makes great...

    Falstaff, instead of waxed paper, just wrap food in waxed cloth, great for wrapping cheese, if it gets too crinkled, just hold in front of oven and it will remelt..

    Looks like the trick is to browse lots of the bushcraft stuff, and then o to the hot picks for you for example tarp clips 10 for 63p scotch eye auger bit £3.61 100ft 550 cord 1.83 net hammock £2.81.... the deals vary on browsing history.... also coupons like £3 off 29 spend etc....

    I bought one from ali express for soemthing like 70p, its just a plugin usb no battery...if got it plugged in to my arduino ROV with a maglite glowtube attached to make flashing light like the aliens loader....

    Bit like how in cities people can get 1000mb full fibre for £20 a month, and around here ive got loads of clients still on 2mb adsl, let alone fttc, lots of people taking up starlink as theres no signs of fttc let alone openreach full fibre rollout, and the rural fibre systes are "problematic"...
