    Crisis or no crisis?

Bear in mind too we are in uncharted territory for many. Lots of people have never experienced interest rates above a few %. Lots have never lived through a recession. still more, although alive, weren't old enough to appreciate what was happening. It's only oldies, like me, who remember those...

    Storing Water?

Hi GK This isn't really a prepping forum, there are other forums that might be able to answer your question in a different way. In terms of 5 gallon containers. If they are food/ water containers fit for human consumption grade plastic then i would think they will be fine. Rotate the water...

what is your best technique for

As Baggins says, it's better to think about it the other way round. if you want to get the bag to fit the kit it soon becomes a never ending list of kit to take - just in case... and you end up needing a pack horse! many people have a few different sized bags for different types of trips -...

    recommendations for dedicate gps only

Is it possible to use the GPS within a mobile phone to the same accuracy? Do they work on the same satellites as the Garmin etc? That would be the cheapest - assuming they already have a smart phone of course!

    Opinions please; chatter on threads...

I would prefer to start another thread. Someone coming into a thread with 'sales' in the title only to see a conversation going on might think it's OK to post like that in any sales thread - even one that hasn't concluded the sale. They might feel annoyed and confused they have been told off...
