    Project Axe

Good job on the haft. Adding texture will look nice for now but it turns the head into a rust trap if your planning on using the axe.

    Bivvy bags

I use a webtex basha (only decent bit of kit webtex do) the basha can clip to its self making it into a bivvy. Along with a DD tarp not much is getting through that. The bonus is I can also use it as another tarp.

    James' Hunting Journey

Shame no schemes like this run in the UK for hunting and fishing the amount of bad handling I come across is unreal especially for fish.

    Kylie stick

You hold the thin end and throw it at the 3 o'clock position with a flick of the wrist parallel to the ground to create the lift. The heavy end helps create the spin.

    Kylie stick

I'm just up the valley from Swansea. I don't think the wood was hard enough and twisted enough for hornbeam. I was surprised at how much the colouration looked like birch in the fibers.

    Kylie stick

Having some free time on my hands I thought I would give a Kylie ago. Used for kangaroo and emus. Like a boomerang but it flies straight. I think its Elm being new to the area is exposing me to new woods I've never worked with. If some one could correct me if I'm wrong though. Needs a...

The wife was getting home sick and I was fed up in my job. Luckily I've landed my self a job with NRW on the fishery side so I'm spending the summer in welsh rivers rather than a desk  i do look forward to your photos though just to keep in touch with the old local area.

    3 Gods.

Oh these carving were done a few years back just recently moved from Cumbria to South Wales I can't cope with these temperatures been sat in side with the fans running. I'm thinking of heading to the river with my leaking (wet suit) waders and try and tempt some trout to the fly.
