I'm guessing we will be canoeing from one place to another rather than going back on to the same site. So we will be carrying our kit in the canoes. If so could you let me know because I will need to buy a couple of extra dry bags.

The Nikwax reproofer is easy to use. All you have to do is spray it all over the garment. Leave it for a few minutes to soak in and then wipe off the surplus with a damp cloth. It does help if you can put it in the tumble dryer on a low heat too...
