Thanks for that. I have a walking pole (used for my DD 3x3 tarp tent. So will measure that and see if it’s enough.

    Polish Lavvu

I’ve got hold of a medium sized (two eyelets in the bottom) Polish Lavvu for £15 from my local army surplus store, but don’t have the pole. I was just wondering if anyone knows the pole length? Thanks

    Scout badges

There are some really good ideas here, I do like the idea of planning for a trip, one of badges includes creating a meal plan for 24 hours and making a meal. I will defiantly be using some, if not all of these ideas in the coming weeks. And to answer of the questions, I’m a scout leader for...

    Scout badges

As a scout leader things have become a little harder to run Monday evenings with my troop, and this for me thinking about how best to work further badge work with the scouts. Snugpak Blanket

My lad was gifted one of these by Fraser (Costal Survival), he uses it all the time from scout camps to hammocking at the moot, however I’m after something a little bigger. I’m worried that the large will be too big, but for about £12 more it gives more coverage. The boss said to just get the...

    Snugpak Blanket

I do like the idea of a down filled one, but would be worried about getting it wet. I have a number of down clothing items, and I’m very careful not to get them wet. It’s also a price issue, for having something that’s just to be thrown in the landrover when in use, and then stuck in the washer...

    Snugpak Blanket

I have a simple question... Should I get a Snugpak Jungle blanket, and if so, which size, standard or XL? Intended uses would be at home, have in a go bag in the car, family camping, scout camps and wild camping. Thank you.

Measuring 3 inches (non-locking); law and practice?

The best thing to do it get what ever knife you want, walk up to a police officer, tell them you have a knife in your pocket and you want them to check it. You’ll either be in brother, or you won’t. Good luck.
