Was chatting to my mate tonight (mentalnurse) and mentioned I was thinking about getting a chain saw to cut wood for my log burner as logs are getting more expensive to buy and harder to get hold of. He advised me to get some advice from people who use them like Maddave etc before I jump into it...

Im realy gutted,he used to ring me from time to time for a chat ,a member of our small blackberry bushcraft group,ive met him a few times on small camps, bonkers and funny and not a bad bone in his body.what a shame and a sad loss.

hi mate , there is loads of places in preston, wheelton, brinscall ,tocholes, garstang etc.. plenty of woodlands around preston and your near rivington and heapey, great outdoors. were in preston are you from ?
