Thank you for kind offer grey cat but I got nice surprise :)
Beautiful bags and frames
Just got figure how to use them now lol. Will research hip attachment for them
Any one heard of these? Picking one up weekend for tenner. I love me bivi but couldn’t resist this. Love old gear. Sort thing that went up Everest I believe
Well that seemed to have worked but took hell of lot of force with gas squirting every where. Doesn’t ozze safety lol. Apparently the 4 quid lixada stove bit fits so will order one them
Thank you for the info all guides so far suggest you pinch a valve off and old stove. When I google these old stoves though there about 30 or 40 quid. It’s going to cost me a tenner so will pick it up and do further research. Must be a five quid adapter some where :)
Collecting one tomorrow but when I mentioned it will need conversion for modern cartridges the chap said not needed and gave me link to The campingaz C206 GLS pierceable gas cartridge which seem common. Yet when I google the stove every one seems to mention conversions. Any one use one ?
Gave the Hennessy its first go last night. The expedition model used off eBay. I actually slept well for first time in a hammock. The weather really let rip but all was well nice and dry and warm. Still leaning towards the simplicity of a bivi though
High light of the night was a wee bottle best...

I do have the British army which I love. Stuff mat and bag in it and roll up good to go under a basha. I...
Hi Grey not fussy at all. I am in Carmarthenshire. The pack is coming from England next month. Looking forward to it. Again 56 years old and I get excited about a backpack frame
As part of my losing the plot as I get older I am picking up this frame next month.
It’s a tracker made by camp trails in phoenix
I like using old gear and prefer it over the shiny new stuff. So my question is I can obviously tie things to the frame. But what do I need to search for bag wise...
I have getting big in cow boy coffee even at home. The results can vary though some times the coffee settles perfectly other times not
I might just deploy a tea strainer job done
I am new to this caper but I can’t being doing cold.
I start packing with bare minimum but then think well I need my softie oh better take my fleece next minute 80+ litres gone
Well second try at hammock last night with my dd. The first time I felt close to be comfortable but never got there and was rough night. Last night with structured ridge line I got closer and the lay was right but it just felt to short. So my next plan is to buy a 12 foot one wind I think like I...
Very nice Martin. Nice shade of blue that. They sure seem well spoken of. Mine doesn’t have a bottom pocket which from what I gather means it’s an early one. The guy I got it off did say I was getting a lot of bag for a tenner. I think he was ex army and it had been his bag. He did really good...
