Tom - the organiser - does run the AO show twice yearly with the bigger of the two events being the late Summer show which happens in September and as I write this he has no plans to cancel it yet. So AO 2020 may happen yet which is quite a cool opportunity for anyone that's keen to join in...
I have Fiamma bike rack on my Renault Master camper. The hanging bars are slightly offset so that it can be mounted to a single door.
That does mean the skids for the bike poke out slightly when you open the doors. Many times in the early days did I close the van door only to get whack from...
I am just on the verge of purchasing a Sevylor Ottawa inflatable canoe. Does anyone else have one of these? Reviews seem very good for this particular model.
Also, in terms of paddling on inland waterways, canals, rivers, lakes in Wales (and occasionally England and Scotland too). What is the...
I believe that as a European Protected Species you even need a licence if you 'might' be planning to do something that 'might' disturb them - clearly that has to be intentional though. Not one of us has a crystal ball so if you turn over a log and happen upon one then I would get that recorded...
I do believe Field Mushrooms start off pink before turning brown but also your description is similar to the Yellow Stainer too (which is poisonous btw).
Did you get any pics?

Haha I work for government. Can you imagine the fallout! They just had to go asap [emoji23]
Also, I've just been told by more than one actually that they could as easily have come from bird seed and it so happens that I have several bird feeders in the same area. So now I am entirely unsure how...
Seeing as it's quite illegal to grow in UK it is no longer there. It now resides in the bin. And ive complained to the company I bought the mix off, not quite the type of wildflower I thought I was buying.

Not so sure about that one. But off the back of looking at that suggestion I think I've found the correct one.
The White Satin moth. And what clinches it is that we though the white blotches looked like hearts and that is one of the descriptors for The White Satin larvae.
Thanks.

Any able to identify this cool little guy. Casually spotted wandering along the decking earlier today. Very active and pretty swift mover too.

I have one of these. Or at least o think its dutch. It has a Superlight bivvi section with a heavier canvas section at the top with fold in flaps. Hard to describe but essentially means it all rolls up into a type of swag/bedroll.
I have the sleeping bag, roll mat (or under blanket if...
Maybe thinking about this the wrong way. The strong brackets are maybe nothing to do with pressure because the handle is on the lid so they need to be strong to hold it together when being carried???
What does underside of valve look like?

I think that's German, French and Italian and says something like remove lid before warming up.
Is it an old style of flask? Or some sort a vacuum sealed container.
EDIT: didn't fully read your post at first just the title and the pictures. Can see you already figured the languages. I am...
Agreed, every day is a school day.
You are of course wrong about the most important skill though. It's coffee surely [emoji6]
Welcome.

Version 2 completed today. This time with an attempt at a pattern and a different lacing method.
Took the holes away on one side only because I thought taking them away on both sides would leave the back exposed, but what if wanted to use it is a hammer.

I just walked past a shed load of them this morning. I didn't know they were edible either.
So I know what I'll be going home with a pouch full of today [emoji16]
