Rule of 3s I reckon - shelter, water then food.
And finally fire because with fire you can eat hot food, keep warm and fashion all manner of tools.

I haven't done the course. However, I did look into it. I found cost is comparative to a practical course with someone as experienced as Paul so no dramas there if an online course is your thing. He is very articulate and that comes through in the samples I have seen.
However, as with all...
Your certainly not going to be cold even in the coldest uk winter this for sure. I've never owned one but I have held one and the one thing I can say is that they weigh a ton!
A Buffalo Smock goes for about the same price I think. It won't be as warm on its own but with a good layering system...
Just as an alternative suggestion. I don't know what part of the world you are in but here in the UK Ordinance Survey now do most maps pre-laminated.
Not the answer if you already have a large collection of paper maps I know but it is something to consider and I imagine most other countries...
Highly likely I'll need to scrub my name off the list now. I live in Caerphilly which has just been placed in local lockdown. I shall keep you updated.

Funny you should mention that. After seeing OPs original post I did a quick Google and found this old story.

I agree. However, imagine you need 500 berries to make a decent amount of jam. Probably less than 10 will need the seeds left in to make you a very sick person. So yes is perfectly possible but on the balance of probability unless one is particularly careful some may slip through the net.
As i...
The traditional way is in the mouth as you have done. Otherwise remove it with a thin tweezers or cocktail stick or similar.
Someone better informed will be along soon no doubt but I'm fairly certain I am right in saying that steeping or boiling etc will pull the toxins from the seed into your...

Anyone want to take a stab?
I thought one of the Milkcaps but now I've looked through a couple of books I'm doubting myself. Seen in a predominantly ash/beech/hazel wood.

This is a slight aside. For anyone interested, Iolo Williams recently did a series called Wales Last Wilderness.
In the first episode he visited Llyn Clywedog and chatted with the guy that runs the fishing club (or hires out the boats, not sure which) and he also visits the local Osprey nests...
I can't offer you any kind of scientific answer but what i can tell you is that my grapes often have that kind of covering to them and they taste just fine. Plus, I'm still alive....bonus!
Personally I wouldn't hesitate in eating either of your crop.

Hi guys,
Random one this time. I occasionally have to do some night shifts in work and often take the camper and sleep in the car park during the day. However, due to large rock in the Lakes being disguised as a tuft of grass it's out of action. So am looking for two trees in Cheltenham where I...

The fry pan is superb piece of kit if you can get over the aly part. I used it in this video to cook up some great kebabs.

Probably not what you want based on your wants list. I think mine is alu and has no lid. Its one of the Trangia models.
The things I especially like though is that it is non stick, is a decent size, superlight at 200g and has a folding handle. The handle is especially neat as it is designed...
