I build and test industrial gas analysis kit for a living, mostly destined for semiconductor fabs in the Korea, China, USA. All built to fit into 19 inch rack mount standards, we work in psi for gas pressure.
Rohan do 36 waist and a short (29) leg. I always pick their stuff up in the sales.
Other option is buy longer trousers and get them taken up. Have noticed an increase in places offering alterations, online price is around £15 to shorten trousers. Or get the sewing kit out.
I have Rohans and 5.11s in daily rotation. My first couple of pair of 5.11s lasted about 8 years, probably worn 4 days a week at work and weekends. I haven't owned jeans for about 15 years, so its 5.11, Rohans, Craghoppers or have just picked up some winter / waterproof Percussions in case it...
Yes I would. Had a discussion with a first air trainer that was ex paramedic, over the years he has used just about anything you could think of to stop bleeding. I have used self amalgamating tape on myself and others. Obviously at work stick to in date stuff.
I pretty much live in a variety of 5.11 trousers, have found them to be comfortable an long lasting. The range of materials and styles can be a tad confusing, the last couple of pairs came from ebay at £20 each in a sale. They are reasonably water repellent, but the coating will degrade over...
People forget that farmers and pet controllers are often out and about at night, quiet often with rifles and lamps or NV. People turning up where they are not expected can be extremely disconcerting, especially if you about to pull the trigger on a fox or rabbit.
I am after some general countryside out and about trousers for winter. Has anybody tried any of the "modern" fabric winter trousers by Seeland, Percussion, Deerhunter etc? The main use would be mooching about the countryside, photography, some rough shooting, in cold or damp weather. Have...
Afraid its a no on the Venture, about the best you can do is set waypoints and points of interest by connecting it to a computer. That will need a cable, on my old one it was a serial cable. If you want to have a go at OS maps on a GPS device, beg / borrow and used smartphone and try the 7 day...
Great video, I have the i1R2 on my keyring. My previous keyring torch unwound somewhere so all that was left was the battery holder. If I intend to be out late I take a bigger torch, Olight warrior or a baton, but a keychain torch is handy for accidentally staying in the pub until it closes.
I use an old android phone and the OS app, not got a simcard installed and turn all the unwanted stuff off to save battery. The OS app allows you to save maps to the phone and you get a choice of maps. Also a 7 day free trial. Carry a batterybank and use a waterproof case.
Sent from my COL-L29...
On the reproofing front, I have an 1890s damascus double barrelled 10 bore that I sent for nitro proof a few years back, it past and its still used. That was another ex farmers gun, he had been using it with black powder carts to shoot rabbits.
Bow saw

Mower. I prefer an electric to petrol. Depends on garden size.
Strimmer / brush cutter. I have a Stihl combi, very reliable.
Chipper / shredder. I have been lent several but purchased a Bosch ATX25 TC. Its surprisingly capable and acts as a chipper and shredder. not my...
