Yep pretty much although I carry three dry bags two with one gas and one with the other gas.

I usually carry a 3L platypus but I do enjoy using and carrying the Keith Titanium canteens. I ended up with two after a late night boozy eBay session when I bought the second. I've used it often over fires to 'make' water.

I have two old school SAS windproof smocks one slightly used the other still vacuum packed with some weird op sciurus. Nice bits of kit.

Look up French water bottle on eBay. My personal choice is the Keith Titanium water bottle but there are other titanium bottles ibasingo, Boundless Voyage.

For long distance travel, I'd go for anything but a PLCE bergen. Just MO

Change it out with paracord. If using dyneema you can get micro cord locks that will work with it.

So had this out today with all but 2L of water. Far more comfortable than I thought over the 5.5 mile walk. I accepted the damp back but genuinely happy with it..

If you have the money go for a Kifaru pack. I’ve tried a lot of packs and Kifaru are the best IMO. Their internal frame large pack is very comfortable it’s called the Kutthroat, roll top pack but you can buy a separate lid. They have many large packs used for backpacking hunting. Buy a frame...
