lol good point imagine always being stoped and asked for it kinda ruin the experience but i suppose its workin out the advantages outweigh the disadvantages
Maybe they should just make it so u cant just go down to a shop and buy one lol. I know when i first went hunting rabit with my uncle they were talkin about a complete ban in england and i was quite wrried thinking just when im getting started, i never kept it up but as far as i know it never...
Well i think its like any profession im sure u get nice understanding police and complete idiots too. Iv met both types. Iv only ever had one encounter in the country tho. We had gone lamping for rabits with air rifles with all permission and liscences in place. when we had finished we went back...
Well i think that if there was a lobby for change then half the work has already been done in a way by scotland. I mean at least you can say look its worked there nothings gone wrong people are happy , the world is still turning and scotland isnt a big fire damaged area its OK. So its not like...
Yes its like any laws i suppose its just having the balls and the know how to get up and say i want change and so do all these other people. I mean if scotland can y cant england, that goes for the smoking ban too lol. I love being half scottish.
Iv seen loadsa posts about wild camping for obvious reasons. You know wat would solve this is if the government recognised a few of the top survival schools and made liscences these schools could give to students who pass a certain course. Or some other way of getting the liscence, similar to...
As some of you know im not an experienced bushcrafter and am just starting out. But if it wasnt for ray mears i wouldnt have typed bushcraft into google and got this site up and also wouldnt even thought about bushcraft. So iv got him to thank for that and no one else :) So thnx ray. Also in my...
No but seriously  Goose's ideas is what probably would have got me interested at a younger age. When i went to scouts as a kid for a few weeks all we seemed to do was play dodgeball from memory lol. Probably should have stuck it out longer but i found that very boring even tho i was what...

Sounds great i definetly will and iv got some camping (not neccessarily bushcrafty) planned for oz as well so if i get pics from that ill post em too. It easier than you think by the sounds of it just a matter of actually doing it! I was thinking of some trips into wales alread, snowdonia would...
good point there are probably a few bits of kit i need to add to it but i thought it would cover the basics. Its a bit annoying too because i had a shapening stone no idea which one and an opinel knife for fishing , searched everywhere but cant find them now
Yeh i deffinetly see youre point and will start doing something lol. At the moment im out of the job so lots of time but no money which supports the ideas uv put up. And im not coming up with excuses at all but i do live in a big industrial town in a former council house in ellesmere port lol...
Thnx for that i thinkk that answers it pretty much unless anyone else has any input :) . Iv got essential bushcraft which im now reading i think for the 7th time and iv watched all the mears bushcraft shows on tv a few times not sure if iv seen all the extreme survival series tho lol. Thats...
