Thanks for letting me join the forum, I live in the far south west of Ireland but also own a place in the mountains of Bulgaria.
For a large part of my life I was a fly fishing instructor and I also worked as a group leader taking clients on salmon fishing trips to the rivers in the Tundra and Taiga of Northern Russia.
Salmon fishing has taken me to some of the Europe's Last Great wilderness locations.
This past August I was in Jockfall in Lapland, a place I visited many times and can highly reccomend it as a base for anyone who likes outdoor activities, 4 years ago I was lucky enough to see a lynx in the early hours of the morning which is rare but seeing moose, bear and arctic hare is pretty common.
I'm not an expert bushcrafter but I know enough to get by, but I'm hoping to learn more here as some of the places I go fishing it really should be a priority.
I just love the outdoors doesn't matter what I'm doing and I have been collecting knives for over 30 years its my hobby within the hobby.
