Hi, I would describe myself as a beginner in the bushcraft sphere, however I have been lightweight camping pretty much all my life. Currently I am making a traditional style bedroll, and I often make my own kit or repair military surplus kit, in order to reduce costs.
I am in West Yorkshire, but look forward to expeditions in Scotland in the future.
I am next to useless in firelighting, I find I manage fine after I have a flame, but getting a constant flame is my problem. any tips would be much appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum. Loads of information on here. And feather sticks are your friend when starting fire. Plus a load of fine twigs a foot long to fill two fists. Preparation. Or over preparation is best when it comes to fires.

welcome to the forum, i know all manner of firelighting but rarely deviate from fire lighters. lol. enjoy. you can learn lots on here. x
