What Danish bushcraft community is that? don't think I know of it.

I have a DD frontline as well, and it's absolutely worth it changing the suspension. I made some 6 feet whoopie slings. Larksheaded the fixed loop through the endchannel of the hammock. I then use treestraps around the tree, and tie a marlinspike hitch, using some aluminium tubes as toggles...
Just to be clear, it's a top quilt right?
Afraid not mate, would love to take it off your hands for a winter setup, but with limited funds and time, I'm trying to be very selective in my gear purchases.

I was tempted, but it's too warm for what I need at the moment :-)
How is the general quality of the quilt, say compared to some of the US cottage vendors?

Rule of thumb is 83% of hammock length.
I too was concerned that I'd adjusting it forever to get it right. But it was far less hassle than I feared. Hang it like you normally would, with about 30 degree angle, attach ridgeline and try adjusting a bit to see what happens. I paid attention to the...
Regarding weight limits on the dutch gear you mention. I think it's in the area of 1000 lbs. Most lines will, and should break before deforming the hardware. Otherwise I'm sure theres too much tension in the rig.

I use it as a continual ridgeline under my tarp. The tarp is rigged with soft shackle prussics in either end so I can adjust it along the ridgeline. Works great and takes up no space.
Let me know if you have other questions.

I assume you need it for a tarp ridgeline?
I'm using lash-it/zing-it from UKhammocks.co.uk
Lash-it is grey, zing-it is yellow. Virtually no stretch, good strength. Work with fig9's and can be spliced with a bit of fiddling and patience. I think the diameter is around 1.75
I have a fixed loop...
I would pick a lighter tarp than the DD for backpacking. It will work and is quite doable, but it's bulky and heavy compared to sil tarps. The rig7 would be a great choice I think, for grounddwelling due to nice size and all the attachmentpoints.
I have used the 3x3 DD for a good while myself...
I found some smaller cans, 250ml ones, that I'll be trying next time. Have also been looking at a few pictures of mini-atomics, and I think I've found that 10 jets is the proper number. Now I just have to experiment with the hight of the stove and the diameter of the jets.
Great fun though :-)...
I have been making several for personal curiosity and with my students as a way of introducing crafts and various outdoor skills to them. I really like the light and no - fuss factor these stoves.
Unfortunately, I've been struggling a bit with getting the jets to function properly, sizing...
