    khukri

Hi I've got 3 Khukri's at the moment, all from the khukri house. Great people to deal with, great blades. I also had one of the first Tora bushcraft Khuks (one with the bigger utility blade in the back). Brilliant again and a great company to buy from. Only sold it as I wasn't using it...

    Bushcraft knife

Whilst sorting myself out a new rifle I stumbled across this little fella. It's a bushcraft knife in the 'Woodlore' style. Made in sheffield from tool steel with a leather sheath and fire steel for under £100. http://jls-wednesbury.org/id52.html Submitted for your info.. ;) Dazz

    What use

Or the one in a thousand chance the knife folds back during heavy use. It only has to happen once.. I've had a decent quality gerber fold back on me once, it is a liner lock. Fortunately I felt the blade move and avoided serious injury. Dazz

Reasons for carrying a knife (in the UK).......

....for a superb thread, containing some excellent pieces of advice and information. Because of my job and the hobbies I do, I get asked this sort of question all the time. Invariably you get the 'what if?' questions after every answer you give. The reason for my post is the congratulate...

    Sky TV poll

Sorry Tony, The poll wasn't meant to cause political debate, but directed toward those of us who catch, kill and prepare our own 'meat' based foods, with permission of the land owner and within the law (if that makes sense) Dazz

    Sky TV poll

Agreed, re the cruelty thing. I'm led to believe the poll is regarding ALL sports that involve the killing of an animal. I take it that as, Badger baiting and fox 'hunting' with dogs is already illegal, together with dog fighting, bull baiting and the like, it's directed towards vermin control...
