    A question for the motorcyclists....

Had one - not without their issues - but does fit your criteria. There is a great owners club see "MT owners" forum. Lots of opportunities for fettling but not a ride and forget machine. Beware minuscule reserve - if you can't see a petrol station when you run out of main your stuffed!

    Moccasin repair

For years my house shoes have been a pair of elk skin moccasins, with double hide soles. After about 10 years the outer sole is worn through in places. I bought a replacement pair for inside sadly not the same quality as I was able to buy 10 years ago. I am torn between taking the old pair...

New Forest fungi picking ban: Forestry Commission vs Forager's Association

I was Born in the Forest - but now live away. And while the FC may have made a knee jerk decision we do have a problem. And that is the near industrialised collecting of wild resources for the restaurant trade (mostly but not exclusively London) this not confined to Fungi. One of my favourite...

A Question about a Leg Ulcer.

Hi Durham-Bushcrafter Sorry was not suggesting you have diabetes - just using it as an example - ulcers associated with varicose are really nasty. I too have suffered from varicose veins although teaching i only spend half the day on my feet. I know how frustrating it can be but would echo...

A Question about a Leg Ulcer.

Hi DurhamBushcrafter As I am sure you know there are a number of underlying medical conditions that can result in hard to heal leg ulcers. While some natural remedies work I would stick to conventional medicine. You also need to get to the bottom (although you may already know) of why the leg...
