Does anyone know if the Dutch army bivvy bags are Goretex it's the one with the bits on the back that you can slide over a mat/camp bed to secure it ? It feels like it, but I'm not 100% sure. I only ask as I have one for sale and don't want to advertise it as Goretex if it's not. :?: My...

Do You Bushcraft With Your Dog?

My dogs wouldn't dream of leaving the sofa for a couple of nights away from home and the radiator. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier that are more like lazy lay around teenagers....... no wonder our Staff is on an obesity diet

    In field sharpening

I normally carry a DMT mini sharp, a Gerber diamond pen shape sharpener and a ceramic rod. They take up next to no room and hardly weigh anything.

    PLCE daypack woes

Can anyone tell me how the Web-Tex PLCE daypack is supposed to go together. Attaching a single 10LT pouch is obvious as it just clips on, my trouble is with the straps. The waist strap just clicks together but the arm straps are long with 2 quick release clips on, but nothing to attach them too...

    Webtex rucksacks.

OK, so I know have an OD Web-Tex PLCE Bergen to replace my medium sized US army ALICE pack. The Bergen is very well made from 1000 denier waterproof Cordura for the body and aluminium for the frame, it has 2 removable pouches that can be attached to a separate yolk (included) to give a 20LT day...

I ordered one from Bearclaw/Gary.... it turned up very fast but unfortunately I was out at the time so I have to wait for it to be re-delivered, I'll give my honest opinion in the next day or three.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of the cheapest new 120lt web-tex bergens, they seem to vary massively in price. I see Bearclaw do what I'm after but do I get PayPal charges on top ??
