    If you've been watching Springwatch then you would have seen the Scottish beavers that are in a trial reintroduction. I knew about them before the show from when they were in the newspaper. But what happens when the trial is over? Will there be further reintroduction elsewhere? Id like to see...

    I feel absolutely gutted

    We had some robins, sparrows, woodpigeons and one blackbird reared in our garden this year. But a sparrowhawk got the baby blackbird, it ate it in the garden. We've also had a dove taken and eaten in our garden as well. But predators have got to eat as well I guess.

    Wild Garlic

    Just stuck a few leaves in my pocket on my way home, washed them chopped them roughly and stuck them with some cheese in a sandwich :) Interesting point about them not making your breath smell like regular garlic does. Garlic can make your breath smell without even eating it, if you handle it...

    You can watch Dual Survival and Les Stroud - Survivorman on YouTube. Both are worth watching. Also "Alone in the wild". Its definatly worth watching :)

    I have always wanted to try the method of cooking fish in the embers of a fire. However I don't know what species of plant are suitable for wrapping the fish in.. So just wanted to know what UK plants it is ok to use for this method of cooking? Thankyou Nick
