Reason I ask is over the years have bought countless different Goretex jackets(all used,mostly ex Army) to replace my trusty Berghaus Driaqua Jacket I bought new 12-13 years ago. The Berghaus while not Goretex I would say is the best jacket I have ever owned and none of the other jackets come...

Guess I should have asked before buying but an Ebay impulse buy(as if I need another dammn Rucksack/Bergen),bought what is labelled as a KARRIMOR JAGUAR S60-82 with detachable side pkts-any good? Thanks

I in all honesty cannot remember as have had it for a while now but think it probably came from Ebay around 6-7 years ago?

I have since managed to pick up a couple of the issue cadet smocks and apart from the material and buttons are identical and yes,there is quite a well known pic of a group of RM chaps during the Falklands wearing a similar smock.

No info Im afraid and cannot remember where I bought it,was bought thinking it was an Army Cadet Windproof Smock a good few years ago but turned out to be this-sorry cannot help any more. Thanks

Wonder if the cadet smock was a copy of this or the other way round?

You are very welcome,will have to spend some time and figure out if mine is properly set up as when wearing the rucksack it doesnt feel right,as if something isnt fitted correctly.

This is how I got it(not touched it),not sure if its the correct way,wouldnt surprise me if it wasnt as doesnt feel right when worn and looks a right tangled/botched up mess.

Just arrived and unpacked,over the moon but havent given it a good going over so hope everything is complete etc. Took a gamble on this,pretty much bought unseen but couldnt be happier that it turned out to be what I hoped it was and even better the date on it!!!! Apart from slightly rusty...

Havent in all honesty done much as it only arrived the other day but have contacted the seller to explain how unhappy that the broken frame wasnt mentioned when bought. Have a few spare PLCE frames somewhere so could check but on first inspection dont think they will fit and also the Crusader...

Thanks for the link but unfortunately the PLCE and Crusader frames are of a different design and shape and doubt that a PLCE frame will fit.

Chuffed(short lived)today to get a 1984 dated Berghaus Crusader 2 only to find that one part of the internal alum frame has snapped. ANy ideas if possible to repair or if not would a replacement frame be available from anywhere? Many Thanks
