Yes it's a laminated flat bow in Cocobola, bamboo and English yew called a Bowtec Thunderbolt. I think you would call it a longbow in the US but here of course the longbow is more narrowly defined (no arrow shelf, horn nocks etc). My son shoots a compound and usually scores higher than I do but I love the traditional bows
