I have an Driza Bone short coat - comes to mid thigh - for 15 years. I have re proofed it a few times & the missus has had to put the needle & thread to it a few times. Its the best wax coat i've had & I ve had Barbour, Filson - tin cloth & hoggs.

Does anyone have any experience with Limmer boots?

These are great looking boots. Would they make out as good hiking boots, on some rough "technical" terrain & be comfortable when carrying upto 30lbs day after day? They look like they would, however, I have never seen anything like these in any outdoor/hiking equipment shop. Any advice will...

Snowsled Ventile?

Swazi have some good gear. The tahr is the one I have my eye on.

I bought the double chaps, they give me the protection where it is needed. I reckon the pants/trousers would be too hot. Yes they ship to the UK, be prepared to pay duty.

I had a pair of tin clth pants/trousers - dry. They lasted very well. I had a connection in the states back then, not sure if I would pay the full price + shipping for them today.

I am interested to hear what Snowsled have to say. I have had an Osprey jacket for 14 years. No other coat keeps me as dry. The quality is first class. If i get another ventile product it will be be from Snowsled. http://www.ventile.co.uk/uses.htmlx
