Hi I am new to the Bushmoot and was hoping to come along this year, Is there an option just to come along for the day with my kids. not able to stay for the night as I am on call at work. very aware of the restrictions in Wales but I am assuming there will be plenty going on.
how about stuff to make on a fire. e.g. chocolate oranges or banana's, exactly as they sound, get an orange, put a slit in the top stuff it with 6 or 7 chocolate buttons, foil wrap it and put on the fire for 15 mins or so.
not sure how this works re addresses and stuff, but keen to be involved.

hope so I was really pleased with it, took a while but for my second ever attempt at spoon carving I was well pleased.
thanks for the positive comments.
you are correct that's a pressure stove and does require an inner wall. oops sorry. but its a great idea, may make them with my scouts i take it simple tools, wire cutters and a little patience will be ok.
It was fairly simple i guess i been watching other ideas and looking on here at how to's. got a spoon knife for Christmas and just decided to have a go requires alot of patience and time, I am sure it will be easier with more practice. along time ago when i was a scout, 20 yrs ago or so i tried...
this can be advanced, put the lid on the tin and drill very small holes around the inside edge of the lid aprox 1 cm apart, this allows the stove to then function in a similar way to a trangia burner, spreads the heat and makes the fuel last longer for the same amount of heat to cook with.
i have 3 or 4 more pieces to use but am not sure how to treat them after, I used teak oil on this one but I also realise that this makes it non food safe. any advise welcome.
