You'll struggle to beat the River Wye in good weather... You can easily do 3 or 4 days and the best stretch is the last day, through the Yat down to Monmouth. Pub lawns and small campsites for overnight stops. Buzzards, Peregrines, Kingfishers and Salmon along the way, with shingle beaches...
