It seems durable... it doesn't show any kydex marks or other wear yet and I've used it daily for a couple of weeks. It is however just on the surface so it will wear of eventually. Easy to redo though... it only cost about £7 :)

But the DPM is the newer one, right? Usually stuff get better as they evolve, not the other way around. What reasons might there be for issuing a less effective model? (I can't think of any but economic reasons)
