Hello everyone, new member in North Wales

Hi both… There are a few of us located in north wales, unfortunately there is no where to do public meet ups at present (We had a good spot near beddgelert but change of ownership ended it). But some of us do hold private meet ups, however…. Without being disrespectful, those who do receive an...

    Bivvy Bag Upgrade?

Have you considered the US army “sleeping bag cover”? I use one myself and I have to say it’s really great. Just be sure to get a genuine US one that is made of true MVP fabric, (which is just a copy of goretex) as the cheap versions are made with the breathability of a wheelie bin! You may have...

How we gave up the TV Licence - Hassle Free

We use Amazon prime a lot, mostly because packages can be sent easily and we have subscriptions to things like toilet roll and pet food. But I really enjoy the discovery plus add on. Lots of outdoor and nature/wildlife shows on there, and it’s cheaper than some other services like paramount...

what size is your telt? I have a Bergans lavvo 4-6 and I use a frontier stove. It works really well but being as your tent is plastic you definitely want a good spark arrestor.

    Hand Forged Bearded Axe

Nice. It’s handy that you had the kiln then really. I presume you have some rockwell files to figure out the hardness, did it all go how you wanted it?

    Hand Forged Bearded Axe

Very nice. How far did you get with it before you had to leave? Was it easy enough to finalise yourself? A nice long haft too, very versatile.

    DIY Knife Making Belt Grinder

That’s pretty cool! And I’m guessing you can remove it fairly easily if you need the sander too?
