Two days work here first day carving left over night to dry a little to help with sanding which I finished today. Here it is with the first layer of oil.

A lot of it is guess work and taking it slow I've done enough now to roughly know how far to take it. By thinning the top of the bowl shape from the inside to the outter wall gives and optical illusion that it is thinner than it is.
