It's better to leave them alone in the Summer as they are breeding, not ideal to kill milky does with kits to ground. Winter is time for rabbiting but if you have to hunt in the Summer go for the 3/4 grown youngsters. They are better eating anyway.

Ok, apologies for the delay. I moved into an estate cottage over the weekend which has no internet for the moment and now I am in Dorset on a research trip. (Its lovely by the way, not bushcrafty at all but very plush glamping. I have never seen a set up with so many facilities, lights turn on...
