    Can you identify these mushrooms?

Hi all, Thanks for the IDs - each time I learn a little more about what's good to eat (and what's not!) where I live. Very pleased to have managed to pick so many edible mushrooms. I just wish you'd all been with me so I could have shared them out as a little thank you :-) PS Yes, 4&5 turn...

For what it's worth, pics 4 & 5 look like PARASOLS to me, but I might be dead wrong.

    Can you identify these mushrooms?

Help. I need mycological expertise to help me identify a load of mushrooms that I picked today. Here's the link. http://www.oldschooltimes.com/mushrooms/index.html I think there are three different kinds in total, possibly four. The tape measure is extended to 20cm, as a reference. Please ask...

Can anyone identify these berries (I'm hoping they're elderberries)

Swift work, chaps. That took, ooh, all of 30 seconds to reply. It's better than carrying Richard Mabey around with me (and lighter too). Thank you. M.

Can I dye DPM Army Surplus?

Dyed using woodland brown. Result similar to Mirius' - it's toned down the lighter colours, leaving just a muddy-looking pattern, which is much better. Used one pack (I didn't want to waste two packs in case it didn't work) and am relatively satisfied - I think two would have given me the...

Great boil in the bag food

I also like the Indian boxed foil packs you get for a quid in Indian shops. Things like Chole, Tahka Dhal and my favourite, Chana Masala. Quick, easy, tasty and nutritionally sound. Yum. Only downside is sharing a tent later... ;-) Here's a pic. It's not the make I buy, but it's similar.

    Stratus Trailstove for swap

Having a bit of a kit clear-out. Here's the latest addition (see here for previous stuff) It's a Stratus Trailstove and it's a great lightweight bushcraft and camping stove. I really like it, but I really do have stoves coming out of my ears, so it's got to go. Comes with tube for blowing...
