The unseasonably dry weather is why there's not too many bunnies around at the moment. The won't drink out of puddles or suchlike and rely on the dew and moisture from plants. As there hasn't been heavy dews (not around these parts anyhow) they have been staying in their warrens. They've probably put off having their young until there's more moisture about too.

Combine this with myxi then you're looking at a reduced population (not a bad thing) but as always it will probably recover soon enough.

Thats interesting about looking at their eyes & how they change over time. I will try that next time I am out to see how they change over a few hours. I learn somthing good every day on this forum, long may it continue.
