Tipi top hat?

Hi I have just got my hands on a tipi and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I set it up the other day and was wondering how the top hat fastens down, It has ropes on but I dont know where to fasten them to.

What Tipi is it? Might be worth putting up some pictures so we can have a look. Can't be any more help than that, for the moment.

I have a Bison Tundra.

I tie the cords down at the bottom.
There are holes provided.

On my Moscosel kata you fasten the hat lines to the points where the higher set of guy lines join the tent. Though I cant say for sure its would be the same with yours it looks like it would work!

Thanks for the info I will try and tie it to the hoops at the bottom, Off to buy a stove for my tipi today so I will be all kitted up

When you attach the guy lines to the middle of the tent and the bottom holes, there is still one hole left to tie the top hat.

bottom, 2 holes together in black cordura bit.
1 for guy line, other for top hat. That's how I do it.
