My friend had a Forces 99 and a shoulder strap tore off. Was along time ago though, build quality might be better now...

I have a forces 33 and a 66. They are brilliant - never a problem. The only issue I have had is ripping the waterproof cover on some brambles - but that was totally my fault the packs have taken anything I throw at them

Thanks for the input. I have a 44, which my son "borrowed"& its now used to contain weights for him to run with. I would like a new larger pack than my karrimor jaguar, but can't bring myself to part with the money, 7 these are quite a bit cheaper.
