Across Canada By Canoe

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
They completely stole my idea!.. sort of. I do plan to paddle in parts of Canada in later life when my bushcrafting ability is up to it, but must have been an amazing
trip for them and very rewarding. I would wonder what canoes they were using to have trekked through the Rocky Mountains with their canoes on their backs?
Great stuff though, thanks bb07

Looks an amazing journey, Lars Monsen's 2 year trip is a great watch too ....

Wow. That is a canoe trip & a half. Big respect to them for making such a journey. Makes me want to take up canoing.

Five and a half months seems incredibly fast time;I would never have guessed it could be done in one season. That's probably why they're staying on big water.
If they tried hopping inland lakes from Manitoba to Labrador they would still be at it this time next year...that sort of craziness is best left to the likes of Lars.
