Welcome to the forum Natz,

It would be useful if you could tell us where you are going on exped and what conditions you expect to encounter? Are you going to a wet environment, is your shelter tented
or a building.
The bag looks ok but in the price bracket you might struggle to get a bag to keep you warm below freezing, that is also lightweight and packs small. Temperature ratings are
totally unreliable and are often misleading. If you're going below freezing you really need a four season bag and from a brand you can trust. Alternatively look at a surplus bag
such as used by the British forces, these will be within your price bracket but will be heavier and more bulky.

I have this bag

It will take you down to 0 fairly comfortably if you have a fleece liner. It packs reasonably small, is light and meets your budget.

It is however very figure hugging so if you need room to move then you may have a problem.

I've used mine in february with no problems. (0 - 2 degrees C) but I did have thermals on in the bag.

Just took one of these to Norway. Awesome bag loads of room built in mozzy net also. I rate this above a Nanuck -10 anyday of the week. Dead light and compresses down to nothing.

Seller got it to me in good time as well.

Having just read back not sure if this would go to the comfort rating your after but worth a look.

If weight and bulk is not an issue I would go as has been suggested for a good quality brit army arctic bag.

I used one throughout last winter.

that's an absolute bargain if it's the same as the one on HH?

Ahh i see... i have been looking at them but all the reviews i can find say that they're no good much below zero... Did you have a liner in yours at the time?

No but i had a thick jumper.

I don't have any affiliation with Highlander apart from liking this bag.

I sleep hot too, you might be able to get an issue arctic bag from the bay within budget though, these are real bulky though.

Okay, thanks. I think i might go for the Challenger, found one brand new for £30 inc. p&p... Thanks again

If you sleep cold don't get it, it is rated to -7 though so if you do sleep cold an extra jumper will suffice in -2.

If the majority of reviews don't favour it then you might be best following that advice than just me.
