Inspired ny ph34r's thread on folks' favourite bushcraft song.

What song(s) would you especially like played at your interring or flambe?

We each have songs we feel identify us, make us happy, make us sad or remind us of times, places and people we've known and loved.

Among many other songs I'd like my family and friends (debt collectors, social work, assorted prison officers and rozzers) to play as they breathe a sigh of relief is;

"Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye". :D

"Don't stop me now" by Queen.it was mine and my Dad's favorite song, it was on the first recruiting video i saw for the army, based around P company(which is why i joined em), and it's really the only song that gets me all fired up and singing.

Just before the guitar solo by the May, my coffin gets fired in to the atmosphere at speed,

Plus Edorado rum of varying age is the only drink being served at my wake.

Heyho ,
I used to think about this a lot , choosing songs / changing my mind , choosing others .Then I realised!!
It doesn't matter , you won't get to watch people listen to it . your choice of song is worthless .
A better thread would be " What song will your partner play at your funeral " . You may be surprised ( if they tell you the truth ) .

Cheers , Trev .

Saying that , A good friend of mines mum requested ( for him ) " come as you are " and it was emotional .

Just dinny "scone" anybody with the empty bottle, deary me...

You get a free wheelbarrow with every purchase, firstly to carry the thing home and secondly, when the bottle's empty - they can carry you in the wheelbarrow.

I'd provide The Macallan at mine but I'm a skinflint...
